sizing help for Uniqlo oversized tee
I’m 5’9, weight about 150 have been told by tailors I have broad shoulders but idk, am trying to decide what size to get the Uniqlo U Airism oversized tee in. The guide on there told me to get size medium but the models there are 6’1 and wearing a size medium and it looks big. Maybe they’re super skinny idk

Models are often super skinny
Always best to just try on if possible
If you’re worried about it and can’t get to a store you could buy two sizes and return the wrong one
But personally I’d lean towards sizing up over down if you’re in between or suspect you might be in between
It's an oversized tee
It's supposed to look big
If you don't want that look buy a different tee
They are also slightly cropped anyway
Like models are skinny but the whole point of an oversized tee is to look oversized
Closest store is 100 miles away😭
I do want it to be oversized, I just don’t want it to drape
I want the slightly cropped look
I don’t mind the size width wise, I just don’t want it to be very long on the sleeves and length overall
The models were 5’11 and the sleeves hit the elbow, I wouldn’t mind it being like just a tad bit over the elbow
But then size S tends to be tight around shoulders and chest
you're fighting against the cut of the shirt then, tbh. I'm 6'1" and I need a 3XL in the U oversized tees for them to actually fit oversized. And even then if u machine dry em they tend to shrink a bit. You really just need to try them on atp.
really don't understand how an oversized shirt doesn't drape ngl
I don’t want it to fit like a dress, super long
That’s what I mean
it won't
That’s all I was wondering. Seeing a 6’1 dude wear the same size I’m being recommended as someone who’s 5’9 had me feeling it’d fit like a dress
it literally has shirt measurements
5'7 and fit S
you usually want to go by primarily shoulder/chest measurements; if it fits at the shoulder then it should land right at/slightly above the elbow
length shouldn't really be an issue unless you're extremely wide
Don’t overthink model specs - they’re models. Go by measurements.
worst case scenario you can always tuck it in, but it doesn't really go anywhere past the ass if that's what you're worried about
