Update Issue (Not patching)
Hello I'm trying to update my Valo but it's not patching, the download doesn't even starts, i tried uninstgalling and reinstalling, tried changing file location, tried the antivirus thing, Command Prompt stuff everything litrally everything still its not working. I also raised a ticket 6 hours ago still I didn't get any solution. Please help me out

1: Open task manager find anything related to riot client click on it then end task
2: Check if your valorant is running as admin
Right click>> properties>>compatibility
3: Win+r then type %localappdata%
Find riot games folder and delete it
4: open command prompt as administrator and type these commands in order one after another.
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset
netsh advfirewall reset
reboot the router
wait for it to get connected to internet
then reboot the pc

yes a mili second it shows the circle and goes off

Close evry valorant,riot client and vanguard related apps/services
Open control panel
Uninstall programs
Uninstall riot vanguard
Open cmd as admin and type these commands:-
1) sc delete vgc
2)sc delete vgk
Then open riot client and click update
Restart ur pc after the update.
I mean the update is not going through
We reinstall vanguard
I don't think you ran powershell as admin
the path shouldn't be your user path it should be C:\WINDOWS\system32> if it was ran as administrator
even after running on admin its the same error
imma be honest I don't fully believe this with all the mistakes prior to this
but if that is actually the case then your windows defender is corrupted / not on the pc at all
I had same issue, I uninstalled vanguard , I tried updating, same issue, re-started 2 times and now it's working fine
