I wear mostly chinos and a button down mon Thursday and have be smart casual most days. Debating on which boots. I work in an elementary school so I’m up and down a lot. Have meetings at central office or may have catch up to a runner out on the playground. Do you have any insights on which is best, I’ve looked at the docs for a long tome. Picked up some cole haans to give my feet a break down my leather sole AEs. But thinking I want something more universal

Depends on what you're looking for from them. Out of the 3 options posted, the Beckett ones look the most sleek and formal (especially in the brown colour way, the matte chocolate one a bit less so), then the DM's which have a slightly more workwear look to them, then the Blunnies - which the soles push them properly in the work boot direction
For an outfit with chinos and a button down shirt, I would lean towards the brown Beckett Simonons probably
For like jeans and a flannel shirt like in the pics you added, the DM's would work just fine
Thanks yeah I have plenty of dress shoes if I need to be fancy, and sneakers but was missing a get up and go shoe can wear with chinos and or jeans. I tnink the BS can do that, but there 2x the price

sure, the darker chukkas probably fill a similar role that the beckett simonon would, so you might find the docs are the most versatile for you!
