Game Install Fails
Hi having issues with just one game , Kane and Lynch 2 when installing it literally says installation failed immediately. Firstly does heroic keep a log for the installs as I cant locate it so I can post it.

Thanks I got the log , it looks like it has an issue talking to GOG but I just installed two othere games just in case (from GOG) , no issues?

it looks like you're trying to install the game inside of the prefix directory, which is going to cause issues. the 404 on the heroic games raw call is odd, though

no , that just it the proefix is on another drive or al least thats what i keep telling it , ill see what its doing

to add to this , it looks like it dies trying to get GOG distributables
Gold compatibiltiy too , nothing really to post but from what I am readin ght egame should work.
Why are you trying to install into

and preefixes are in the folder youmentioned
/home/nerd/Games/Heroic
to be exact copied and past job
You want to her something wierd? I solved it...
I created the folder Kane & Lynch 2 Dog Days
then run the installer , it must be the charater causing heroic issues , because once i create it I am able to install, makes sense as heroic creates the games folders.
Navigate to heroic folder i.e. /home/nerd/Games/Heroic and from there create the folder Kane & Lynch 2 Dog Days.
Install the game, prefix folders will create no problem just put them where you want
