Cant start Railway Empire

Hello everybody, I want to play Railway Empire but it doesnt start. After hitting "Play Now" it shortly shows "running" and just about immediately returns to "Play Now". I cant see any window open and the log doesnt show any error I could try to google.

you are using system wine, instead you should be using Wine-GE-Latest from the heroic wine manager also you probably want to make sure you have all the wine dependencies listed here https://github.com/lutris/docs/blob/master/WineDependencies.md

Hello @Allora, I think the game is running natively (I dont see any wine related options in the setting compared to other games, just "other" "advanced" and "gamescope"). Or do I have to select it somewhere else (if so, where)?

but yeah running the windows build, use wine-ge-latest (which should show up in the wine menu on the game's settings page with a windows game) you will have to use wine manager in heroic's left bar to install it (if you havent)

yeah, I know where I can do that. but still thanks. just thought that mabye native > compatibility layer but I guess not... Yay it works. Do I have to mark this as solved?
