Corners Warping with ABS
Can't seem to get rid of warping completely with ABS. I have chamber at 45 C and have tried 50 C but the corners still warp. Brim doesn't help and I've tried doing a custom brim but still lifts. I've tried glue stick before but I'd rather not use it as it is messy and I have a bl touch probe.
I have bed temp set to 110 and nozzle 255 C to start and then 250 C for the rest. Using textured PEI buildplate.
Idk if there is anything else I can try without using something like a glue stick? If I have to use an extra adhesive, is there something better than a glue stick? I've heard hairspray is also good? I know there are some name brand adhesives but they tend to all be pretty expensive along with added shipping costs.

Did u try fan settings? I run without a fan for two layers, and ABS sticks nicely to the textured bed without warping. For the rest of the layers the fan is continuously on, but on low volume. My chamber is a bit hotter, it is passively heated but insulated.
Yah the fan is off for the first 2 layers and I tried lowering the fan, it was at 15%, going to 5% the layers start crumpling together
Hmm.. And the bed is clean? What size are the prints? I have not printed massive parts in ABS, but at least the printer parts come out fine.
90mm x 75mm and 50mm height
Does not sond too bad
yah I cleaned it every time I try something new and I try not to touch it otherwise
yah idk why, the corners just really dont want to stay in place. I could maybe try a cooler nozzle temp idk
Hope you are not using windex for cleaning 🙂
But yea, less temp change might be worth trying
no, use isopropol alchohol, also heard people use dish soap and water but havent tried that yet
For me isopropyl does not really help. I use good old dish soap and wash it under running water, several times with the dish soap. Don't really know why it works better than the ipa.
alright, I'll try that as well, I'm using glue stick and seems to be working with the extra brim at least
Yea. Hope you get it fixed 👍
yah thanks
I use smooth plate/high temp plate with chamber at 60°C on my bambu, I can print whatever without warping.
I only use 3DLac, a good layer will last you forever
oh wow, did you add a chamber heater to you bambu or does it get that hot stock?
I added a heater with some other mods
Like foam insulation, temperature readings, air circulation and a tent
Both foam insulation and the tent preserve all the heat
Sometime I get readings of 70°/75°C
But really, forget all those glue sticks, try 3DLac spray, you will not regret
