why do i get a message in the riot settings that says: "An error occurred! Please try again later."

"Sorry, the login servers are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. Check the service status page for more information." can someone please help?

still happening today its been 2 days It is currently a bug please just sign in with your riot account. Using username and password and not using something like Google you cant use google you gotta use the actual riot sign in i just figured that out now
