Recording + 90 (80) fps on the iPhone

When I start recording on the iPhone 14 Pro, my fps go down to 60 and I notice some additional fps drops, I’ve watched some tutorials on how to fix this but everything seems to only make it about 50% better, it still feels like πŸ’©in comparison to when I don't record. Is there anyone who regurarly records his gameplay on his 120 hz screen iPhone and could give me any tips?

Hopefully this will no longer be an issue when 120 fps setting comes What I do now is that I start the recording, then switch down to ultra or extreme and then I go back to extreme+

Dude I have the same issue. It really sucks. I wanted to record my gameplay but when I do, the fps drops and I can’t play properly. Hopefully pubg will fix this issue with the iphone 90fps supported models

80 fps to be correct It's not pubg issue, it's iOS issue I think it will no longer be an issue after 3.2 update when 120 fps comes We will hopefully get the full 120 fps while recording Pro motion will work better at 120 fps than it currently does on extreme+

I understand all of this, I was just asking for a solution as this can occasionally be fixed by switching between refresh rates etc. Maybe somebody knows a more permanent solution to this
