Bendy corners on the enclosure magnet frames in ABS enclosed

I’m trying to print the magnet holder for the frame for the vcore enclosure. I have tried all z-offset and temperatures, but the corners will still bend slightly. It’s so small that I can’t really get a picture of it. Looking at the first layer from the bottom, it looks like the squish is fine. Is it supposed to look different? Bed temp 110/105, nozzle 250/245 Ignore the bridges please, didn’t have fan on

Have you tried using a brim? On parts that like to warp that is usually a good way of keeping the corners pulled down.

Yeah that will be my fallback if I cant get it to print without

If you want to avoid using a brim, you will probably need to increase the chamber temperature in your enclosure. The easiest way to do that is to heat soak your enclosure by pre-heating your bed for about an hour. You should be able to abuse the thermistor in your hotend to measure the chamber temperature, so you can see how long it takes for the temperature to stop rising. The more elegant solution would be to install a chamber heater and a dedicated thermistor to measure the chamber temperature.

I think Ill just do brims for now, and dabble with chamber heater later. Is there a target temperature for the chamber you can recommend?

70°C max If you have the parts of your printer in ABS and you would be at the limit of needing to make modifications

I know this is out of scope, but do you have a heated chamber? I have a 12v ptc heater and fan, but I’m not sure about the best location inside the enclosure. Maybe in the bottom?

A 12 volt or 100w for a 500x500 I say it is very little but yes, the best location would be at the bottom since the hot air tends to rise

Can I see a picture of your setup? How do you control it?

I was having trouble getting my enclosure temperatures above 45C to achieve my optimum print settings. This is the solution I came up with to solve my enclosure temperature issues. I'm running a Fystec Spider v1.1, so your printer config would likely differ. I'm also using a Hartk v4.0 PCB that h...

chuck a couple glue sticks in a jar with water. Mix well and wipe on your plate. It sticks great and doesn't leave the smears like applying regular glue stick.

Had the same issues with ABS, ASA, and PC prints. Even with a heated chamber. This fixed all of it.

I promised myself that my new printer bed wouldnt be a flytrap, so I will try all alternatives before going that route :p I actually looked at that mod too. Im considering doing about the same, with a thermal fuse, thermistor and a control board outside the printer Maybe mount it to the bottom plate facing upwards, and drill a small hole for wires
