It's tougher than you think to find an identical fabric. A pair of pants that is close but not identical will end up looking and feeling off. Something like a grey wool twill sounds easy, but then you realize the yarn of the pants is just slightly shinier and looks off. Or it's slightly more brown. Or it's a thicker yarn so it is visually arresting

Yes to all the above, but know too that Saks Off Fifth used to sell Made in Italy suits with Zegna fabric. They're decent bargain suits but were never high end.
