what is up with the cheater system rn
my friend just got banned twice for "cheating" i have a picture of one of the cheater detected screens also the second time he was banned he was 0 6 and missing a ton of shots please tell me why he is getting banned

I believe riot scans computers for any suspicious software, so perhaps ur friend was reported, and riot checked and found something suspicious. I’ve seen cheaters who do terrible and still get banned. I don’t know how common false banning would be
hes hardstuck silver and i have seen his gameplay a lot and there is no way he actually has hacks
i understand the first ban because he was doing amazing and it seemed like he was hacking kinda but the second game i dont understand at all he was missing a lot of shots not giving many comms of enemy whereabouts
"false" banning is happening quite a lot, it seems like.
need to say that the support will not tell anybody why exactly vanguard bans people, from what i´ve heard people were banned for gta modmenus and roblox cheats before

Riot does not offer an official list of which software, hardware, or other modifications may lead to ban. Riot is constantly working on trying to keep the game fair for all players. They stress that any modification that causes an unfair advantage for players, will lead to a restriction.

he doesnt cheat in any game he is just good with aiming in valorant and roblox games also this has never happened in the past when ive played with him
So vanguard dooesnt actually look at aim
not that i know of
maybe a bit but its more about cursor movements and software running on ur computer
so if something dodgey is running
or vanguard is like hey ur aim kinda snaps to the heads, or is tracing their heads through walls
or like moves to the head in a straight constant line somethign only a robot could do etc. then it can ban u
Yes if u have other cheats open in the background it sometimes has false positives
But rarely because of actual gameplay
So that's me I have no clue why I was banned valorant had to fix theyre software system

no there was a cheater detected screen and the game ended
also it might could be it detected minecraft mods as suspucious software
Probably not cuz they wouldn't be running
