FPS drops

I have stagnant 120 fps but randomly once a day the first game I get on after 5 ish rounds it drops to 5 and stays around 30 until I restart my laptop which fixes it for the whole day, this has been causing me a lot of afk bans tho so how do I fix it and I already updated drivers

Don't know what overclocking is or how to do it so most likely not It is a laptop without a dedicated gpu

then you need to reboot the pc once in a while or shutdown the pc after the work ~ open control panel power options Clicking Choose what the power buttons do from the column on the left Scrolling down to Shutdown settings and unchecking the box for Turn on fast startup Clicking Save changes to apply the changes

real fix is an app called Process Lasso but you need to watch a guide on how to use it. Basically what your problem is, is that another app/task is taking up the core valorant is running on which is why fps drops. To fix that you have to isolate one core only for valorant and you will probably get like a 10% increase in fps + have less stutters.

What you should first tho is to find the cuplrit of what's causing your fps drops, my guess is it's probably windows defender because you got a virus so windows is fighting that virus while you're gaming resulting in high cpu usage. So probably do a virus scan. If that finds nothing then you need to use an app to find what processes are taking up your cpu. An app like process monitor would probably do it.

if you currently get 9090 fps then yeah you might see an increase to 10000 fps (10%) but sorry for hurting your ego
