Hi, Dash-Team.
What do you think about a “look at target” feature for the Surface Scatter tool? – It would be great to have it for a concert scene, for example, where the audience is looking at the stage. - If this already exists... please show me. I didn't find anything like that.

Hi @der_urig - could you clarify a bit more?
Sure. - I have this scene (created in 3ds max with Chaos Scatter and then imported into Unreal) where two groups of people (over 9000 each) were looking at each other (Screenshot 1). In between, I placed an invisible box as a target for the “Look at” function in Chaos Scatter.
Ah, I see. So you want everything oriented at a specific point in space. One sec
Radial scatter can approximate this with some work, but I don't think we have a specific scatter mode for this sort of request yet. I'll pass it along to the devs.
I know it's not a perfect 1-1, but it should give you a start that you can work with in the interim
Thx for your as always fast response. Unfortunately radial scatter doesn't work in my case. It has to be a spline object. See screenshot.
I passed a note on to the team, so we'll look into this for future updates
