Cron job doesn't seem to start when you press Run Now
I noticed that when I press Run Now, it prepares the service and puts it into a 'Ready' state but it doesn't actually run. I can see that if I deploy my program without the cron job parameter, it works correctly. How am I supposed to run the cron job preemptively or am I thinking about this the wrong way?
If Railway staff are interested the service ID is https://railway.app/project/f6459896-75f7-412c-b646-e15bce18f2a9/service/30cd5bbf-179c-4beb-82ef-f44a6d693975

Railway is an infrastructure platform where you can provision infrastructure, develop with that infrastructure locally, and then deploy to the cloud.

I'm guessing Run now actually means Build now but that just seems like it's incorrectly labeled. I just want a way to run the cron at anytime in case I need to?
yes it should run the job when you press it, I'll bring this up to the team when they are back in office
Thanks. It stays frozen in a READY state not ACTIVE so nothing happens, so I had to reimplement the cron logic in Go instead of using Railway
luckily that won't use too much memory so it's not a big loss
Brody I have a question about Docker and Nix do you mind if I DM you?
does that mean it doesnt pertain to railway?
It's 100% Railway related
I can create a new issue too
