DI usually play Dcs, Il2 or Mfs bur last few days friend dragged me back to War Thunder sim. Tried to get ffb working but when ffb option is checked stick is just limp most of the time. Then sometimes randomly there is hint of feedback. Then I dusted my old Msffb2 and mounted it on the right side. On there ffb work decently and even tough Rhino is ages above Msffb2 I actually enoyed more to play on my old stick as playing without ffb is very weird to me after few year of only playjng eith ffb. Also I am trying to adjust to 2d screen coming from VR.
There has been amazin development on the VPforctelem is there possibility of adding support for War Thunder. As currently it works on Msffb2 I am hoping it can easily be done maybe to work on Rhino?

IMy Rhino showed up to Texas 2 days faster than a package I ordered from Florida did.
IUPS is pathetic lmao. Ordered at the same time of course. FedEx got the package from Lithuania to Texas Friday -> Monday

SNice. Sadly the service to the UK hasn’t been anywhere near as good and mine was shipped 29th March and hasn’t moved since the 5th April.
IWhich is the setting that controls the stick stiffness at slow or high speed? DCS warbirds. Is it damper, inertia or friction? or any other?
MDamper and friction feel the same at any speed, inertia will feel strongest on the ground and spring will vary the stiffness with airspeed
RYou also payed 100 dollars for shipping so it better be fast tbh

II got the chance to fly a family friend's UH-1H in real life after playing in DCS for the better part of a decade. Did my first flight in the UH-1H with the Rhino just now and I'm blown away.
IThe similarity to what I remember from flying the real one is just insane.

IHe's just always ready at the controls. He actually said I did great lol. That was a huge compliment
IThe hover he defintely was giving some corrective input, but the level flight portions hes just reaching for the trigger to talk on the ICS
MThe fact he doesn't actually engage the controls (much) that low is a big compliment in itself. By the looks of it hovering really seems like 'riding a unicycle on a basketball' might not be that exagerated :p
IHovering definitely is not easy.
II attempted 3 hovers, my second was pretty decent. First and third I handed the controls back when things got a little outside the comfort zone

Was looking at the QR4rigs quick release for ease of moving it from two different mounts, but one concern is the durability of the grip screw mount on the Rhino base itself, it’s not metal like Virpil’s bases right, so I wonder how it’s going to fare from changing grip/extension on and off now and again?

MYou can buy or print replacements of that piece however an aluminum upgrade of it is in it's final stages before being available so metal will also be an option for that.
WGood to know, thank you. If that’s available by the time I’m at the top of the list I’ll probably spring for that.
