Im struggling to make a unique server
At first I was planning on making a custom skyblock server but why would anyone play it when they can play hypixel sb
Then i was gonna make a survival gamemode with custom items but it was very difficult for me
Then I decided I was gonna make a geopolitical server which gave me four issues, first the average player wont enjoy it and they wont understand my vision, the second is im struggling to find a decent plugin for what im trying to do, third is I would need alot of players, fourth there are already bigger and most likely better server that do this, this is an issue ive found in all my ideas
Then I was going to make a kinda vanilla server with a shop and stuff then realized no one is gonna spend more than an hour on the server just to log out and never come back
Im thinking of just giving up, any thoughts? how did some of you out there overcome this barrier, and if some of you are looking for a new server what are some thing you value/ things that would keep you on and entertained.
