Odd visual artifacts and chunks disappearing (2.0.3a + Oculus 1.6.15aDH)

Hi all! First of all, thank you devs for this amazing mod. I am currently using Distant Horizons 2.0.3a with Oculus 1.6.15aDH (the build that was released specifically for DH compatibility on the Reforged server), Embeddium and the Distant Horizon-enabled Bliss shaders. My Minecraft version is 1.20.1. For the most part, my game looks absolutely stunning. However, I've noticed that blocks floating high up in the air will be rendered from a distance with a big shadowy column beneath them, which doesn't go away until they are approached. Also, sometimes distant chunks will suddenly disappear/fail to load - I have noticed this tends to happen when they are in ocean biomes. Finally, the game has frequent microstutters. Unlike other reports, I have not been getting error messages in my chat. Is there any way to fix or ameliorate any of these issues? I'm expecting the answer may well be "no, Oculus with Distant Horizons is still buggy and in beta," but I thought I might as well reach out and ask. 🙂 Oh also, I have a Nvidia 3080 graphics card, and have allocated 24GB of RAM to Minecraft (I know this may seem excessive, but I genuinely get out of memory errors if I use any less - on top of the shaders and Distant Horizons, I have over 500 mods in my modpack!)
