Hwhen my laptop(Lenovo LOQ 15IRH8 with RTX 4060) comeing out sleep the external display comes back on but main display with full black screen with no blacklight with nvidia drivers on x11
Fbecause Fsync kernel already contains Surface patches I believe

IDangit, installed bazzite, fought the keyboard not working, thought it was because it wasn't providing power, eventually checked the bios and found the XHCI setting wasn't on. Finally installed, clicked through, selected all the things to install, rebooted, "update" process starts, and I think it's wiping out bazzite with steamos again.

Back in 2020 the Linux kernel added a split-lock detector since when they occur an atomic instruction spanning multiple cache lines and requiring a global bus lock is needed
CWith the Splitlock Detector enabled, I experience a 5 to 10% performance loss in every game. Titles like God of War, Dragon's Dogma 2, Fallout 76, and Lords of the Fallen become unplayable

RHow do you guys manage freesync on amd with multiple monitors in wayland kde6? For me, freesync goes all over the place after fullscreen firefox videos or fullscreen games. It somehow converts my desktop to a random framerate number ex. 48, 62, 72. I tried using gamescope to run the games in their own gamescope window, but almost none of my games would even start when setting the gamescope variable for the game through steam. I have disabled freesync on my second monitor, and they have the same 144hz, but the second monitor is 1080p compared to the main monitor being 1440p. Is it fixable or is it more of an issue of waiting for fixes because it's bugged?
ROn a sidenote, when I installed bazzite, mangohud wasn't installed. I had to manually layer it on my install. I thought it was supposed to be build-in?

Hno idea why you would need to layer it unless you were using a flatpak (in which case you need the flatpak version which we do not ship)
ROh! Maybe it was my bad... LOL. I see you guys don't have goverlay enabled by default and I was trying out the shift+f12 default hotkey to view mangohud and it wasn't working
RMaybe it is a good thing to enable goverlay by default in the future?
Hgoverlay broke other things (didnt use it myself) so it was removed, people can layer it themselves if they really needed it

IWill bazzite-deck installer do the right thing if I say "delete all partitions"? I figured I should leave the EFI part alone but that seems to have effectively done a factory reset after the reboot after install
AAre you doing a fresh install of bazzite-deck or are you dual-booting
ABecause „delete all partitions“ means basically that, and it will create its own EFI partition automatically if you choose to follow auto-partitioning
Ifresh install, but actually it seems like it is still actually bazzite, it finally finished the post-install update that looked like it was rewriting everything with steamos

Dive tried this many times and always fail, but with a single gpu passthrough. been tempted to swap out 5600X with 5700g or similar, but then theres also the thing that some anticheats can detect when theyre running in VMs (which is kinda crazy…)
MIs it possible to pass-through an igpu or does it have to be a dedicated gpu. (granted I couldn't get pass-through for my actual gpu working yesterday either...)
