popularity contribution question
Anyone can help answer a question about the names that pop up on home screen for popularity contributions.... you know how it shows top 3 and then the next one pops up and shows one person? My question is ....>>>> is it true that the person that pops up there is top contributer for only the past week?

From what I understand.. that is the person that has given most popularity in the current week...
Am I correct
This person claims that they didn't know who the person popped up was .. then changed story and said they played in the past...
That's why I want to know ..... the person that shows up here is from the week ? Because on my account.. it is the person who game me the most this week .. not of all time or anything else
The players who contribute the most Popularity will enter the Popularity Ranking, and the top 3 players on the Popularity Ranking will get an exclusive icon.
About Guardian: When a guardian relationship exists, the recipient gains Popularity and Synergy every day (same time as receiving the Space Gift), and the guardian player gains an exclusive icon.
The players who have contributed most (Total Rankings) in Popularity Ranking or Guardian Ranking will be popped up as an exclusive icon. @千ＯＸＹ♡乇ＬＬＩＳ♡
Yes.. that is the first icon that pops up.. the one that has 3 pictures... but my question is about the single picture that pops up next
So the guardian is appointed weekly??
It is based on the Total Rankings with the most time remaining in the Guardian relationship.
So can the guardian have been from any time?

As, it is based on how much time is remaining in the Guardian relationship. Once the time duration is over, the Guardian will be automatically removed from the Ranking.

As you've mentioned in your screen recording, you may ask from your friend regarding the time duration.
They claim it was from over 180 days ago
But on my guardian it was only this past week
So I was asking the time frame thing to see if it is true
So when I saw that my guardian was only from this past week .. I was thinking that was how it worked and all guardian was recent.. but maybe I'm wrong.. that's why I ask
No worries! The same procedure/concept is applied to both Popularity Ranking and Guardian Ranking.
The top 3 players who contributed in Popularity or Guardian Ranking in Total Ranking will be shown as the pop-up that you've shown in the screen recording.
