I don't see the LOD's

DH does support 1.16.5, although something might've broken Optifine compatability in the nightly builds, I haven't checked yet.
I use fabric for DH and haven't seen any problems. Maybe try it out

Try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it.
So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.

@James Seibel (GMT-6) I checked it. The LOD's simply do not appear in DH 2.0.1 or 2.0.0 with Optifine G8 1.16.5, I doubt anything will change with G7
