Trying to get the cards over each other properly

I want to set the back-card under the front-card with wider and shorter than the front-card, but couldn't getting anywhere... The back-card is in the demo not showing properly as in the pic https://play.tailwindcss.com/9j1fku0Afd

In your code you only have a single card and you haven't include a picture in your post so it is hard to know what you want to achieve and what your issue is.

If what you want is the background transparent green element, I would probably add that as a pseudo element on the main card.
