the only times (i know of) where moving system disk to a new pc will cause issues is if

you have set vital mountpoints (ex

to be on a different disk which is no longer present) fail
have disks that are no longer present automount without

nofail
```
nofail

nofail

nofail
option
new machine has hardware that requires a different driver to be activated (like broadcom wifi drivers) as they break other hardware of similar type
your efi or
```
/boot
```
/boot
```
/boot
```
/boot
is on a different disk you did not transfer
you need a driver that is not in your distros kernel yet

I installed Bazzite on an external SSD drive, had no issues with it. You might have to rebase though if you have a different GPU setup between the systems but you shouldn't need to do a fresh installation
