i removed "npm version patch" from my build command.... and now CF Pages CI/CD can successfully build the app.... anyone know how i can use "npm version patch" without breaking the CF build?

Why are you trying to run npm version patch? That’s going to try and bump the version in your package.json, create a git tag, etc. which doesn’t really make sense in Pages CI

Pages CI is more meant for building your site, not for releasing new commits to an app.

In contrast to something like Github Actions which might release a new tag (and use that command), the Pages CI is just meant to build the Pages site and not do any actions back on your repo (like a release).

We cache things in website/node_modules/.cachewebsite/node_modules/.cache and probably website/.docusauruswebsite/.docusaurus

Note node_modules/.cache/webacknode_modules/.cache/weback is the default folder for Webpack persistent caching so you'd rather enable this by default for any Webpack-based framework.
Maybe you already cache it as part of node_modules?

What was their exact response?
Those issues should either be Trust and Safety, or Billing. You can reach T&S via that email, and anyone can create billing tickets.

If you open it, should be a Pay onlinePay online button. If it begins with IN-IN- it's from the new system that has that. If it's a CFUSA-CFUSA- from the old billing system, you may need to billing ticket saying you have an invoice you can't pay and your account is restricted
