Used Alden loafers or Allen Edmonds factory seconds
I’m in the market for some brown/burgundy loafers and trying to get some used Alden’s on EBay however the pricing for them in my size are $20-$30 less than Allen Edmonds Factory seconds (Randolph’s). Couple things to consider, I am not sure what my width size is in Alden’s and the best that I can find are D width. The Randolph’s can be had in E width. Both can be returned but of course would need to pay shipping and restock fees.
Are Aldens still the better option here? Are they that much better of a shoe? I don’t usually wear loafers so don’t have much experience with them however I do intend to change that. Thanks in advance.
