Monitor flashing black in fullscreen games

Hey, having an issue with my monitor going dark momentarily and frequently in fullscreen games. I'm using Bazzite GNOME (Steam Deck) -- does anyone know if it's a Mutter issue? I've restarted and unplugged/replugged my monitor in multiple times to fix the issue previously, it's just persistent and annoying.
