I installed the mod and its api but I don't see any changes in my world

I installed the mod and the game loads it correctly because the button for configuring the mod appears but nothing changes in the world. I already activated the rendering, I changed the Alex Caves configuration file but nothing, I don't know if I'm missing something

The version of the mod and minecraft are 1.20.1
