New LOD chunks not generated on server

When using Distant Horizons while connected to a server, new LOD chunks are not being generated. On singleplayer they are being generated. I can take the world file from singleplayer and put it on a server and the LOD chunks that were generated from singleplayer do render while on the server, but new ones are still not generated.
