Personally I really like some of their stuff, though I feel the brand is much stronger in S/S than in F/W.
What slightly bothered me about my recent SFC order was the shoddy work they did in sewing on the Buttons on the patch pocket jeans. Its no big deal, re sewing them took like 10mins but I feel that for a 200$ pair of pants not getting the buttons right is a bit embarrasing. Overall quality is good though.
I feel what they shine at is providing an interesting top layer for when its to hot to layer too much. Lots of really loud, really structured often mesh-adjacent tops.
The tanks are also extremely good, just providing tons of versatility wardrobe-wise.

Some preview for their fw stuff - some of these textures are absolutely insane.

Some are here already, some are still to come, some aren’t even there at all. Tastes of the new releases, next week we’re gonna run through these in a little more depth. #ScottFraserCollection

Just to keep that info somewhere: If you order SFC trousers in the boccia fabric options you can absolutely ask them to also send you the remaining fabric scraps and they will do.
Probably my favourite brand
I love the mohair sweaters
Did anyone in nyc go to the pop up?
Anyone have their pants in the chocolate brown or milk Irish linen fabrics? Trying to see photos of those fabrics in natural lighting. It’s hard to judge the colors from their website pics, which seem to have filters.
@sioku has them in the brown. Try the search function
I have the brown! It’s in my recent ootd
Question for the sfc pant havers: If you have linen or linen-cotton pants, do you wash them or keep them dry-clean only? This feels like an important consideration for me to decide on whether I want to get some gauchos for summer eventually...
Bc I don't think i want to bother with non-wool dry-clean-only pants.
i dont own sfc but generally dry cleaning linen not needed, i just was all my linen normaly
Same, I’ve washed them
And then hang dry
Thats good to know! ty!

I have 3 gauchos!! Best linen pants on the market in my opinion. Searched and couldn’t find anything even close to these. I machine wash mine then hang dry! They are incredibly sturdy and I’m not gentle with them at all! Treat them like my denim and basically been wearing those 3 pants on repeat all summer with swamp a*s and all. Summers about to end and they still look great! I know you’ve been contemplating getting them and this is my endorsement of them😈
Would you recommend in wool, @boneboy4401 ? Trying to choose between their wide boys and these.
Can’t comment on the wool because I don’t have anything from them in wool. But I think linen is a much more common material to see poor quality than wool and I think their linen is great so I expect the same from their wool. I would go with the wide boys for a wool fall/winter pants. As the gauchos are really wide and in my mind more appropriate for summer vibes.
Makes sense!
Thanks
I think I like the gaucho silhouette better
I have the wide boys in a mid weight wool fabric from the boccia collection and in my opinion even the wide boys are a lil bit too airy for winter usage when its actually cold. That being said, if that becomes an issue you can always opt for thermal underwear.

Huh didn’t think of that, good to know
What would be your winter choice?
I would prolly stick with the wide boys and get some thermal underwear if things get too cold. At which point it propably does not matter if you take gauchos or wide boys thermally. If you like the gauchos more take those I guess.
