If you see a slash through your mic icon in VALORANT, it typically means that voice chat is disabled or there's an issue with your mic settings. Here are a few steps to resolve this: 1. Check In-Game Settings: - Go to the game settings using the menu. - Navigate to the 'Audio' tab and ensure 'Voice Chat' is enabled. - Check the 'Voice Input Device' and make sure your mic is selected. 2. Console Settings: - Make sure your console's system settings have your mic properly configured. - Verify the mic isn’t muted either through your headset or controller. 3. Test Mic: - Test your mic outside of the game by using other applications to ensure it's functioning correctly. - Try unplugging and replugging your mic or using a different controller port. 4. Restart Game/Console: - Sometimes a simple restart of the game or the console can resolve connectivity issues. If these steps don't work, it might be worth checking if there are firmware updates available for your console or headset.
