Customizing the default pre-selected shop
I would like to customize and edit what store is pre-selected when I start up Heroic and go onto the Stores-tab.
It always defaults to Epic Stores as pre-selected option. I would like to have GOG as my default Store option when hopping onto the Store-Tab.
Is there a hidden setting somewhere I have overlooked to customize this behaviour?

iirc the default is to show every library you have logged in, but there's a filter on the top right that can be used to hide the other stores if you want
I believe this is about the Stores button in the sidebar

AH
Currently you cannot configure where that button goes. It selects the first store of which you have games in your library

OK. Optimization request: customization possibility to set the default store I would like š
(Epic is getting onto my nerves)
Shall i close this thread as solved and you place a user-story into your dev-ops-board? Or should it remain open?
The support-request was helping to find such hidden setting if any. Now that this is clarified - it is "solved": no such setting as of yet

Funny thing: on my Tuxedo-Laptop, heroic always opens GOG as default selected store. I might have tinkered with the debug thingy in the past ... not sure. Need to dig into this more. So it might be possible even now already.
An easy customisation option is the way to go of course

Now it finally functions as I longed it should. I love it. Such a nice quality-of-live improvement.
Big big thanks - for all the work you do š
Oh, it seems i was too quick to praise š¤£
Apparently, my Heroic had a little weird bug. It didn't recognise me being logged into the my Epic account anymore (under manage accounts) and when i actually got onto the store selection and Epic, it would first give a warning that i am not logged in, but after a few seconds would show the store with my profile signed in.
During that period, it worked exactly as i had wished for. It remembered GOG to be my last store visited when i closed the launcher from there and would re-access it next time when I chose the store section.
Then I figuered out, it didn't recognise my account log-in status on Epic in my account management, so I re-entered my credentials again - which solved the error message behaviour when hopping onto the Epic store ...
... but now the behaviour is also back to before: when I open up Heroic and go onto the store section, the first store it enters by default is Epic from the top, not my beloved GOG which is my routine go-to that i use most often and generally also close the app from.

So what do I do? Untag the "resolved" to flagg it again?
The behavior you initially described is not implemented yet. So yes, this wasn't resolved
I've sadly not had much time to work on Heroic lately

Thanks for your feedback and insights. No worries.
It seems I was just prematurely euphoric for the wrong reasons š
Still looking forward for this feature one day ā¤ļø
