Hey. This is likely a dumb question, but, I'm going to be installing bazzite fresh. I'm also interested in jumping between testing and stable to give it a go (I'm a noob) and just wondering if I need to do what I'm reading a lot online where I need to rebase to unsigned image, restart, then rebase to signed? Or is it fine to just always use signed if in only using bazzite?

If you on a ublue image then you can switch to a signed image. Before you switch to a testing tag, it might be worth pinning your current tagged image. It's very nicely documented here https://universal-blue.discourse.group/docs?topic=36 with a nice video guide at the end

Ah I see. I'm most likely being silly and just automatically seeing signed and unsigned as something similar to secure boot which isn't the case at all. Thanks for the clarification

I think it's a weird gnome feature, if you Google it you can disable it. Not a bazzite-exclusive thing

I think they mean the white scrollbar like line in the top left, not the pill next to the logo. It's a bug I've encountered before
