Anyone encountered networking errors with flatpaks before? I'm having the strangest issues, for some reason when I run AppImages and native packages I can connect to local servers through IPv6 and IPv4 just fine, but when it's running through flatpak it refuses to connect

My firewall on my router is set to when a connection is made to the public IP address of the router or the public IPv6 of my server it either NATs and reroutes it or allows it through the firewall but flatpaks specifically doesn't seem to want to work with that?

This has happened so far on Thunderbird and Joplin, Firefox however seems to kinda work fine sometimes

Does Flatpak perhaps do something certain to DNS records? I'm pretty sure it's a DNS error, I mean, it's always DNS errors

I was just curious to know. When fedora team release a new version/iso which can't be installed/updated using system update. A complete system reinstalling is requires. My question is, does bazzite follow the same trend, when team create new bazzite iso based on that latest fedora iso, can user upgrade directly with system update or they have to reinstall?

That means i once installed bazzite on my system, i can keep it forever, i do not need to reinstall again. I can simply update with system updater.

the only time that assurance breaks is if you expect to upgrade from fedora 39 all the way to 42 etc.

here it especially doesn't matter anyway because the whole OS is an image pulled from a docker registry

it's a never ending comedy of errors seeing people do this in the 'WindowsOnDeck' reddit. they get told not to, do it anyways, and then a few months later make another post about their sd card being broken/dead. and it keeps happening over and over and over again.
