Warframe (or just some games) causing bazzite to freeze. Hardreset needed then.
hey, does anyone else have issues playing warframe on bazzite?
I did mainly play wf now and it would crash and freeze the whole pc. I then cannot access any other TTY, I need to hardreset the PC.
It was fine for about 2 weeks, no crashes, but since 3 days its been crashing in increasing frequency. It seems to be below 10min now, but it seems to have no issues with idling for an hour in a "hub area".
I am running warframe in DX12 - but its been fine for 2 weeks, playing daily for a few hours.
This is the second time I am encountering this, since I had this issue before with my last bazzite install ~6 weeks ago. I then switched to ubuntu, which would work again without issues, but I fucked up ubuntu, came back to bazzite gnome, now its the same behavior again.
I run warframe from an ext4 partition on the same drive. I have also been running it with this same install from ubuntu.
I tested with a different game (Scorn) yesterday and that would run without issues for 5 hours nonstop.
I did run the fix to get updates again and updated, didnt fix the issue.
Any ideas?
