No shit, but they're queing with lower ranks

because they recieve a low amount of RR considering their placement having "match mvp"
i have a friend which is iron 3 and im silver 2
i basically lose more RR when playing with him and losing and gain less RR while winning because it's lower ranks
him on the other hand gets more and loses less for playing with higher ranks
just try solo for 4 5 matches and play well that should fix your mmr and your rr gains / loses will become normal. Heck you might get placed into a higher mmr lobby ( in your case a gold 3 / plat 1 lobby )
