A personal fix to computer completely crashing/freezing mid game
Rather than a question, this post is my personal fix on how to fix your computer crashing mid game and having to hold the power button to restart it.
If none of these fixes work, a last resort is to: in your Window's "Settings," follow the path: 'System' > 'Display' > 'Graphics' > 'Change Default Graphic Settings' and turn OFF the two options that are present ("Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" & "Optimizations for windowed games").
: Disabling HAGS (Hardware-accelerated-GPU scheduling) will almost definitely fix the problem, however it causes other problems and has its downsides.

- Launch Powershell or Command Prompt (AS ADMIN) and run the command:
- Disables fast startup which improves computer performance (search and refer to reddit for more details and info).
- **Right click the valorant shortcut (/open file location, right click on valorant) and go to properties. From there, you want to go to the "Compatibility" tab and checkmark the following options:**
- "Disable fullscreen optimizations"
- "Run this program as an administrator"
