As part of AI safety ANZ we'll be having our first Melbourne meetup at:

6-9pm
From August we will be hosting Meetups on the last Tuesday of each month.
Why get involved?
A super casual way to meet and learn from the AI safety community here in Melbourne; expect informal chats on career strategy and upcoming educational and training opportunities.
For people new to AI safety - this is a great way to meet the community with zero expectations of prior knowledge.
For people with AI safety experience - grow your network and learn about other initiatives happening in the community.
Please feel free to bring a friend even if they've not been exposed to AI Safety ideas - this is a great way to grow interest in the movement!
We've chosen a pub for the meetup because it's got lots of space, vegan options and easy to commute to/from; alcohol consumption is neither compulsory or even encouraged - drink water, beer, or whatever else, up to you.
Adam Ford and Hoa Do are your Meetup Coordinators; look for signs for "Adam" or "Hoa" when you get to the venue.
