PauseAI socials - make it easier to find and organize local meetups
Social movements often grow from human connections. The stategist behind Extinction Rebellion told me that the local fun social meetups were more important for the movement building than the actual protests.
@Holly Elmore just organized a simple "let's have drinks" PauseAI social and it was a huge success. No effort to organize, lot of fun, many people. We should do this more often! What can we do to make this happen?

How can we make it easier to discover local events
- Show local communities on the website.
- Have a list of events on the website. How do we aggregate these? Google calendar links? Build our own tool? Get data from discord? Mixily?
- Have a map / globe / GPS thing on the website to discover nearby communities / events
- Should we do the social events on the same dates? Would definitely make things way easier from a technical perspective, and would create a feeling of "we're doing this together" which is awesome
- Perhaps also show adjacent communities? E.g. EA or AI Safety communities?
- Should we get funding to bootstrap / sponsor these meetings? E.g. 50 Euro for drinks + food per event if there's at least 5 people showing up. Required to make a picture (both proof + fun to have these on your site!)
