@Open Brush Updates Open Brush 2.8 is out! Highlights of the new version: * Unity upgrade * Removal of experimental mode -- everything is in the main build, controlled via the config file. * Monoscopic is now included as well * UnityGLTF import & better exports. See https://docs.openbrush.app/alternate-and-experimental-builds/improved-import-export - there's a lot of new stuff as part of this and more to come soon. * Monoscopic and Viewer modes to be released on Steam for Linux and Mac * Media library supports folders, so you can organize your images, videos, and 3D models * Many shaders are now singlepass * Preview spheres for 360 degree images * Pagination in the layers UI -- instead of a hardcoded 7 layer limit, you can create as many as you want (well, we don't know where the limit is, at least) * Passthrough brush, initial version * Better image import, with errors caught and displayed in a much better way than before * bunch of bug fixes The full automated changelog is at https://github.com/icosa-foundation/open-brush/releases/tag/2.8.0 -- we hope to have a proper user-facing changelog soon Available on Steam, Oculus/Meta, Rift, Pico, Pimax, Itch, and Github, as always 🙂
