It's a puzzle game! I can't explain it fully since there's a bunch of different games with different storylines each time, but it does include the two main characters: Prof. Layton and Luke :D!
The general gist of it is Layton being called to solve a mystery while encountering puzzles along the way, and the storylines become more interesting the more you progress (and the puzzles get harder as well)
