Any updates on the WebRTC Beta being ready to release? We need the capacity to go live from our browser/app; without a RTMPS/SRT.

The pain point right now is the lack of Recording/Replay under the WebRTC implementation

Hey guys, i'm using the stream & images product but for some reason i have been getting double charged for my usage over the last 4 months and have paid over $1,000 to cloudflare that I shouldn't have. I have reached out to the support team multiple times but havent gotten any help. They usually respond asking a question, then I answer their email but after that its radio silence. I am really lost for what to do. I am running a small business and we really cant afford this double charge every month. Is there any help I can get here?

I'm planning to write a technical article about implementing Cloudflare Stream at our company. Our experience with the Cloudflare Stream service has been excellent, and since there are few case studies in Japan, I'd like to share ours.

I have a question: Is it acceptable to include screenshots of the dashboard in the article? Specifically, since we haven't received any special accommodations regarding pricing, we believe we're only sharing publicly available information.

Is anyone here able to trigger a Cloudflare Stream video via javascript to player.play();player.play(); or player.pause();player.pause();

I have a button on my webpage that will display an overlay with the video. All the javascript calls and flow are correct, but when calling play()play() or pause()pause() they just do nothing.

I'm following the example documented here: https://developers.cloudflare.com/stream/viewing-videos/using-the-stream-player/using-the-player-api/

Anyone else figure this out? Am I missing something obvious here?

Hi guys,
I am using react-stream to render stream on my page.
When I open it on the iPhone, I am not able to choose video quality (both, safari and chrome). Other platforms works as expected.
Did anyone else face this issue?

Apparently, this is a case where, once again, after hours of messing with this, I figured it out minutes after posting here...

It appears that pause()pause() and play()play() ONLY work if you have autoplay=trueautoplay=true on the iframe source.

Hopefully this helps someone else.

Is there an issue currently with webhook notifications? I have had a webhook set up for around a year, pointing at a worker, which has been fine up to this point. The past few days users have been uploading videos, and the worker is not being called via webhook - the videos are uploaded to stream ok and are ready to play. There's nowhere I can see in the UI with event logs for webhook events so I can't see what the issue could be and why it would randomly start failing to send.

I've verified its not an issue with the worker, I can call it manually, and I've checked the logs and there are no requests at all, they're not even being sent from Stream.

Looks like you should call this endpoint from the backend (unless you control the "upload.videodelivery.net" domain/backend)

CDPN = codepen?? You're running cross-site scripting on a domain you don't own - effectively thats what CORS is for. Try doing this on a page you host yourself that you can modify your CORS settings for

Can you tell me in which cases cloudflare calls can be more favourable than cloudflare stream webrtc? Let's say I have two broadcasters and 1,000 viewers.

Calls is intended for voice/video calls, where a user might have 0 or more than 1 video stream or only an audio stream, stream might also be weird to implement for people receiving and sending at the same time

If the user's account information can be dynamically added as a watermark during playback, then he will have his personal information when recording.

Are you assuming that the method of stealing the footage using a screen recorder/OBS? If so, you could simply overlay the user's info over the top of the video iframe in the site's HTML itself, with an absolute position set on the text

what are the maximum encode settings to send to cloudflare stream rtmp? I'm trying to figure out why streams are not working for me. Input Status says connected but stream constently buffers and never plays.

Are you using any form of VPN? I fidn cloudflare playback with VPN on is awful. Check your stream recording (download as MP4) to see if its just the 'stream' or if its you.

I changed the settings to what you said and still nothhing. If I change only the rtmp link to twitch or youtube it streams just fine. Cloudflare is getting the data because it updates the default screenshot for the video but it will never play the video, only buffer. I've tried two separate internet connections from FiberFirst and Spectrum also don't use a VPN.

hi, i had a paid pro account but when i click on Upgrade Plan on Stream it only shows storage pricing. how do i know how many minutes my current subscription level allows of live streaming. i don't need / do any storage of my streams, only real-time 1:1 app window sharing.

hmm, you have to go the main site pricing table, then click the "?" next to Stream to see pricing... odd UX. anyway, $1/1000mins for streaming is the answer for "stream pricing" not the storage pricing which is nicely shown in your Stream account page.

Did some digging today and appears the Stream SDP response indicates they only support RTX (packet resend functionality) on VP8/VP9, and my WebRTC client is negotiating to H264, hence the packet loss. Tried modifying my SDP offer to eliminate H264, but am now getting a 400 from Cloudflare. Not sure if I'll have time to dive into this deeper, but posting it in case anyone wants to check it out.

I don't believe so, Cloudflare Stream is just HLS and I'm pretty sure HLS isn't frame-accurate.
