Overwatch 2 Performance Issues
Hello I'm currently experiencing performance issues on Overwatch 2.
1.When I launch the game on steam it takes a little while to start.
2. When I load into a game it takes me a long time to connect to it, there have even been times when I was kicked out of the game due to inactivity.
3. During the beginning of the game the textures of the characters take time to appear making the game freeze and during the game I encounter drops in Fps until the game freezes completely sometimes even making my entire system unresponsive.. I've already gotten penalties in the game lasting up to 8 hours
Does anyone have an idea on why I have those problem?I am using the experimental proton and my setup is as follows:
CPU : Intel i7-7700k
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080
RAM : 16 Gb
