4K Television Output not Working (Nvidia)
Hey folks!
New to Bazzite, not so new to Fedora (or Fedora on Nvidia on Wayland)!
I'm running Bazzite Latest (fresh install) with KDE on a system with an Ryzen 7 5800X and an Nvidia RTX 3080 and I've encountered a strange resolution issue. When outputting over HDMI to my TV I get not output. If I plug into an external 1440p monitor and boot I get output and all functions as expected (up to 1440p 165hz). If I then swap output to the TV, I get output but only at 1080p 60 and all higher resolutions fail to apply.
This same configuration with the same HDMI cable, port, and system are able to output at 4K60 to the same television under Windows 11 so I don't suspect it is a cable or protocol limitation!
Is this a known issue or does it match any known failure patterns? Any specific driver logs to investigate or share?
