Looking for inspiration on how to pair this suit.

Hope you all are doing well. I was wondering if any of you all can help me with some inspiration on what type/color shirt to wear with the following suit. I bought both the pants and the blazer. I currently have black loafers and a black belt but I feel like it's too binary (B/W) of I wear a white shirt. Not sure if I'm overthinking this. I have a white shirt.

This is for a semi formal cocktail party that's in a week.
