Bazzite flickers if monitor set to 60Hz

Good morning! Some time ago I realised that playing Yakuza 5 would make my screen to flicker a bit, thing that didn't happened on Windows. Today I was playing "In Stars and Time" and saw that pesky "flicker" again. I went to the desktop and changed my screen refresh from 165Hz to 60Hz, and the flicker started happening on the desktop too. It is possible that for some reason setting my monitor to less than its main refresh rate causes some flicker?
Specs:
- CPU: AMD 7600
- Monitor: 1440p at 165Hz
- GPU: Nvidia 4080
- OS: Bazzite (Fedora 41) with KDE
Thanks for your time

EDIT: I wanted to record a video, but looks like the phone camera cannot perceive this "small flicker"
