Will this repalce the existing flatpak? Is there a version string I can verify in the apps settings to confirm? I still see the same issue after going to desktop mode and runnign this on th deck. I can uninstall the old one first to be sure.
hmm now even in desktop mode it seems I can't open the dropdowns.
What happens on Steam Deck now in/out of desktop mode, is a blue border flashes around the drop down. Before, the cursor would just disappear

make sure the Heroic you run is ran with
--branch=master parameter
check the command line options in your steam shortcut

It had no args, I uninstalled the entire thing anyway as well, but trying. Be good to add the branch maybe to system information in Heroic

It doesn't matter, given no global install exists, but I also added
--user

Same behavior though. I can try later. Let me know if there's a way in system information to know what version it's on. Like I mentioned above, I did uninstall what I had completely before installing the master branch versiono.

- Theme selector doesn't work
- Hitting B/Circle to quit out of the dropdown does not work

I've just updated the steps again to install a version with the above issues resolved
(it also fixes an issue with the actual select area getting smaller than intended, which you indirectly encountered in the video above)

I'm having this issue currently and was wondering what the solution you came to was.
I replaced 'branch=stable' with the 'branch=master' launch argument but it hasn't helped

Just curious, is this at all related to the bug where typing in game mode will also spam the same letters? Or is that a separate bug altogether?
I wasn't aware of any such bug
