Looking for a modified version of limited lives mod
So, I'm starting a server, and I want people to have limited lives. However, I don't want their health to be permanently reduced. So I'm thinking that maybe it should automatically add a permanant absorbtion effect to counter the health loss. Anyone know of a mod like this or are willing to do this for me?

yhis could be made with chatgpt in 2 minutes with skript
instead of that I'd just keep a death counter using scoreboard, and ban if its equal to smth

I find mods to be somewhat less jank than plugins
U can get way more user error though

also, fabric has the advantage of not breaking some technical vanilla components by default, if that's important to the owner
also also, a datapack could probably work here as opposed to Skript - the performance hit shouldn't be bad because you aren't doing much every tick
