Client-Server connection not working on 1.21.1 Nightly Build

The 1.21.1 Nightly build that is provided in #links-n-downloads is not working for the client-server connection functionality. This is a completely clean install of the Minecraft client and server, with only Distant Horizons installed (and the Fabric API just in case it needed it). No configurations or LOD data were imported into the installs; they are default settings only. The files tested are "DistantHorizons-2.3.0-b-dev-1.21.1-fabric-neoforge.jar" and "DistantHorizons-fabric-2.3.0-b-dev-1.21.1.jar". The Fabric-Neoforge file works on both client and server, but the connection between them doesn't work. Checking F3 shows either "Server does not support DH" or "Server supports shared level keys", but both report it being a CLIENT_ONLY world. Whether F3 reports the first message or the second is seemingly random each time you enter the server. You can see both in the screenshots provided. DH is active and working on both the client and server; I see the LODs generating in-game, and both the client and server have DistantHorizons.sqlite files generated, but they are seemingly not connected to each other. Also, sometimes but not always, DH spits out an error message of some kind when joining the server. You can see the beginning and end of it in the screenshots above. The Fabric-only file loads on the server, but joining the server with it on the client causes the game to crash at the Loading Terrain step. There are no problems joining the server without DH installed on the client. The game claims it's a graphics-related crash and suggests updating my GPU drivers, but the game still crashes when using this file after updating to the latest drivers. The latest log files from client and server are directly attached for ease of access, and I put all the log files and crash files from my troubleshooting attempts, as well as screenshots and the JAR files, into the attached archive.

you're using an outdated build

It's the build provided in #links-n-downloads , so that needs to be updated if so.

I just now downloaded the latest version in the thread and have tested it. Neither version of the JAR file works on the client. The game crashes on loading the world terrain step before I'm even in-game. I've attached the crash report and the latest client log.

I poked around this server a little bit more and found that there was a RC version that is not linked in the #links-n-downloads channel. Everything in the help guides and FAQ points to #links-n-downloads and https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/1285883332768563284 for instructions on what and how to use the server-side nightly builds, but none of that points to the RC version of the mod. Yes, it's in #announcements , but it should be what's linked to in the guides that everyone coming in here will be seeing and downloading from by default, because that's what everything else points to. That all being said, I found, downloaded and installed the RC version on my own, and it fixed my issues.

That's odd, the nightly builds should be more up to date than the release candidate
