Are the Levi's 501 selvedge shrink to fit?
Basically title, and i'm referring to this https://www.levi.com/US/en_US/clothing/men/jeans/straight/501-original-fit-selvedge-mens-jeans/p/005013516?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&adpos=&camp=PLA*EC*US*EN*17004636363*PMAX*goog*&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAC-PMYVmCqVk5G1dWxr6poOJuQ4KW&gclid=CjwKCAiA6aW6BhBqEiwA6KzDcw3D8A1xwOmzBlTjNadyYER26FVcoICX7kZGp19lrgMeRieo2yrkCxoCA84QAvD_BwE
Saw the video from youtuber edgyalbert's guide for 501s saying to size up 1 in the waist and 2 lengthwise, but i believe those are specifically for the regular 501 STF, not the premium 501 selvedge. Should I apply the same steps if im trying to get the one in the link above?

the product description says to expect about 10% shrinkage, so I think i would def size up. but pay attention to your measurements bc levis is pretty vanity-sized.
Im basing it on my current levis 505 which should be similar, im a size 33 so 34 should be the move on these selvedge ko?
No*
i would measure the waist width of the 505 tbh
ya it is confusing since both these and the shrink to fit say 10% shrink but there are other models of "501 original" which do not say anything about shrink. The ones you link are 26% hemp, which makes them different than normal denim, is this intentional?
I think the hemp has nothing to do with shrinkage and its all about the sanforization
Could be that just that color of the 501 selvedge is unsanforized and the rest is sanforized
Update: yes it ended up shrinking
Can I get a fit check?
looks good
those are 501's alright
Thanks
