Cannot get past launcher for Fallout: New Vegas running CrossOver bottle

I purchased CrossOver (24.0.5), and using their guide, I am running Heroic thru their bottle. I'm trying Fallout: New Vegas, it opens the launcher but after I keep going it just closes and nothing else happens.
It's the native CrossOver version, not the patched one.
