C++ issue while trying to lauch Gord from GOG
Hey! I am new to this Heroic laucher and trying to play some windows games on Macbook Air M2. I am trying to lauch Gord from GOG with Heroic, but when its trying to lauch i get error saying "The following components are required to run this program, Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime".
Anyone know how to fix this issue?

if you are using the paid version of crossover, you have to install the visual c++ runtime in the Heroic bottle using crossover's app

for other wines/crossovers/gptk variants you can download the vc++ runtime executables from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 and install them in the prefix with the
run exe in prefix option in the game's settings in heroicLatest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads

Im using Whiskey. So i download the C++ from the link and run them Whiskey?
Sorry if this is a dumb question, im pretty new to all of this and generally not that familier with macOs

youd download the exe and then drop it onto here in your heroic settings

This worked! Got the game to lauch now atleast. Unfortunately the game runs like ass on the M2. Like under 5fps or somm haha 😅
